Waging Peace honours and celebrates the official designation of the extraordinary achievements of a multigenerational, global cohort of leaders, changemakers and wisdom keepers. Hear their greetings, wisdom, and strategies for action to secure a peaceful, sustainable future.
This experience delivers the message of our connection as a Human Community beyond the barriers of nation, belief, and race. It will be a timeless, organic performance with original music, multigenerational choirs, audience engagement, and the inspiration of extraordinary wisdom. This is an expansive vision of what a Golden Peace looks like and presents strategies on how to bring this about.
You will have the opportunity to receive the tools needed to create your own Visioneer Leadership Circles to carry out good work projects, tell wonderful stories, and create positive solutions in your own community and the larger world. Be a part of the demonstration of observable evidence of the nobility of the Human Species evolving towards goodness and showing support for the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Become an active participant in a World Class Global Project set to make a real, on-the-ground positive difference as Humanity strives to overcome the urgent existential problems threatening our very survival. Become a Peace Builder with strategic intention in collaboration with a multigenerational community of leaders and organizations.
At this time of multiple existential crises facing humanity, we see the naked ugliness of war and environmental destruction where images of unimaginable cruelty and devastation invade our hearts. We long for Humanity’s Golden Peace, which means not only the absence of war, but achieving the attributes of kindness, compassion and collaboration, knowing that we are all connected in one global family living on one planetary home, where doing harm to one does harm to all and doing good raises the quality of life for all humanity. We are called to wage peace with as much strategic intention as those who wage war.
You can attend this event either in person in the Old Auditorium on the campus of the University of British Columbia OR by joining us in the live stream.
