The presentation will be broadcast on the Zoom platform at https://zoom.us/j/4378079715.

This will be the first time that a Rotary audience will be introduced to the Visioneers International Network Web of Good Wood Work. Marilyn will be introduced by Gerri Schwartz, Co-Founder of the Visioneers Network in recognition that Marilyn was awarded one of the inaugural Visioneers Awards for Lifetime Achievement at the Visioneers conference in Vancouver, Canada on October 1, 2017. See Marilyn’s Award here: https://thevisioneers.ca/connect/marilyn-king. Marilyn’s and Gerri’s participation is being facilitated by Barbara Muller, also a Visioneers Award winner, who is heading up a group of influential Visioneers from Santa Barabara and other US locations.

Marilyn King is a two-time Olympian pentathlete who represented the United States at the Olympic Games in 1972 (Munich) and 1976 (Montreal). After retiring from Olympic competition, Marilyn developed a signature teaching program in which she teaches participants ranging from business executives to children in school the skills of Olympian Thinking (Vision, Passion, Action). She worked with Gerri Schwartz and Desmond Berghofer in several teaching programs in Vancouver during the 1990s. One of her most important accomplishments has been to recruit Olympian alumni from many countries and age groups to form a United Nations NGO called Olympians for Peace, believing that Olympians are uniquely qualified to be inspirational role models for young people as advocates for world peace. Marilyn is an inspirational speaker and is well-positioned to promote the Visioneers Network to Olympians around the world.
